Gold Rush!

The Gold Rush is on! Join Your online country and build your own town. You country needs YOU! to expand and prosper. Join now: Goldentowns The best strategy to start with is rushing your first gold mine. That way you will get enough gold to keep your energy up. From there upgrade what you have and build new factories when you see you're running low on a certain resource. Vegetables is something you will need a lot, so is meet and wood. Next, stone. you use a lot of the thing when building and upgrading roads. Iron and Clay aren't used as much, to this day I have only one factory producing those. Goldentowns is a game that needs some patience. for example level 3 factory produces every 12 hours, a gold mine level 1 every 24. But drop in a few times a day in dig some gold! ;) The game is still fresh so there is a lot of room to expand, not many "big players" around yet. So every new town counts, Help build your virtual state to a force to be reckoned with in Goldentowns.

Hi there People! So it looks like the makers of Anno1777 have made a new game, one again it can pay out real money. This one is called:

Goldentowns

The idea behind it is more or less the same, the difference is that you build your own city. After playing some I can tell you that the economic part of the game is much easier to grasp, simply because we have a graphic view of our town. Build buildings to produce resources then spend them on buildings. Of course you can beat up your neighbor so they pay taxes to you and if you have a knack for some politics you can even conquer a country.

One more game of a similar genre, Goldenbattles. Again, quite simple fight, work, earn and cash out. Of course if you want to make some more cash you will need to invest the money you get at first back in to the game to make real progress. Or if you're really into it you can invest some of your own cash to start things up real quick.

Last but not least, something for fans of old school dungeon games, namely Dungeons & Treasures. Now this is a simple game, you go in to a dungeon (1 per day) kill monsters find gold and items, earn experience. The ultimate goal is to get as much gold as possible within a month. On the first of every month your account is reset and the gold you accumulated over that month gets converter to DT$, every 5 DT$ is worth 0.7 Euro.

Make money playing online games

First of all, lets get a few things straight. If you think:

  • This is some king of sheme
You do not need any money to start with, so what can you loose? (a few euro will speed things up but that's your choice)
  • How do I make money?
Any money your character makes is exchangeable to euro, value of that currency depends on the current in-game economic status of your country.
  • I'm gonna try and make 100$ in the first week!
Umm, No. You will need to wait some time before you can make a sensible amount of money. You start as, well, no one. You will work, fight, trade and mange your way up the ladder.
  • I will WORK? No thanks, I wanted to play...
Well it's an online GAME, working means clicking once a day.
  • Click once a day? Sounds like a Boring game
Well It's a economic-strategy kind of game, with a bit of a personal point of view. Work, fight, write, play a little politics, open a business, trade on free market, whatever You want. You didn't play games like that? Try anyway it's free.
  • Where... and Why?
OK, There are two games I know of, that work that way:
Why? Accept the immortal "Because I can.", if you play games like this anyway, why not be able to make some extra money of that? I mean beer does not buy itself. You don't really need a lot of time to play, with is great if you already have a job. It's not one of those games where you loose everything you worked for the last month because some kid got up at 4am and sent his no-life raiding party to loot your place. The only drawback is this "it does take time". just like life, if your parents didn't give you a 1,000,000$ for starters it will take some time before you can open your own business or trade in the major league. But with a bit of effort and some wits, you can make it, after that just grow. On a personal note, I find the first game (Anno 1777) more fun, or simply richer, then Marketglory.
Last but not least, I have a request for anyone who read this post. You see there is a reason why I took my time to write this. If you play I get payed, in-game currency of course. As far as I know you don't rally have a choice eater you use my link or it assigns you someone, you can't join without a referral, so if you read this use mine please.
