- This is some king of sheme
You do not need any money to start with, so what can you loose? (a few euro will speed things up but that's your choice)
- How do I make money?
Any money your character makes is exchangeable to euro, value of that currency depends on the current in-game economic status of your country.
- I'm gonna try and make 100$ in the first week!
Umm, No. You will need to wait some time before you can make a sensible amount of money. You start as, well, no one. You will work, fight, trade and mange your way up the ladder.
- I will WORK? No thanks, I wanted to play...
Well it's an online GAME, working means clicking once a day.
- Click once a day? Sounds like a Boring game
Well It's a economic-strategy kind of game, with a bit of a personal point of view. Work, fight, write, play a little politics, open a business, trade on free market, whatever You want. You didn't play games like that? Try anyway it's free.
- Where... and Why?
OK, There are two games I know of, that work that way:
Why? Accept the immortal "Because I can.", if you play games like this anyway, why not be able to make some extra money of that? I mean beer does not buy itself. You don't really need a lot of time to play, with is great if you already have a job. It's not one of those games where you loose everything you worked for the last month because some kid got up at 4am and sent his no-life raiding party to loot your place. The only drawback is this "it does take time". just like life, if your parents didn't give you a 1,000,000$ for starters it will take some time before you can open your own business or trade in the major league. But with a bit of effort and some wits, you can make it, after that just grow. On a personal note, I find the first game (Anno 1777) more fun, or simply richer, then Marketglory.
Last but not least, I have a request for anyone who read this post. You see there is a reason why I took my time to write this. If you play I get payed, in-game currency of course. As far as I know you don't rally have a choice eater you use my link or it assigns you someone, you can't join without a referral, so if you read this use mine please.
